Ballet Theatre Midwest, a non-profit corporation, enriches the community through excellence in educational partnerships, classical dance training and professional level performances. Ballet Theatre Midwest provides pre-professional classical ballet training and performance program, engaging children’s curriculum, creative dance for 3 and 4 year olds, jazz and musical theater repertoire and adult ballet classes. The technical training program utilizes a syllabus combining elements of the Royal Academy of Dance and Vaganova training methods. This method has produced dancers for professional companies in the United States and Europe.

Ballet Theatre Midwest Performances — Fine Arts Fund Sampler Weekend
Ballet Theatre Midwest presents a “double header”! Enjoy two energetic and engaging ballets in this fast paced one-hour performance. Watch our dancers as they “dart, flick, flutter and jive” in Hip and Straight and To the Pointe! set to “Glass Pieces” by composer Phillip Glass. Then, join Aunt Pettitoes as she “hosts a garden party” in A Beatrix Potter Portfolio. Immediately following the performance, join us for a Beatrix Potter Garden Party –tea party treats, art activities, children will meet and dance with the performers! FREE! Treat the entire family.
