Training
Founded in 2004, Ballet Theatre Midwest's training utilizes a syllabus combining elements of the Royal Academy of Dancing and Vaganova training methods. This method has produced dancers for professional companies in the United States and Europe and prestigious college dance programs.
Performing is a necessary part of dance training. Ballet Theatre Midwest's vision is to establish a Professional Performing Ensemble and youth ballet that create and preserve full-length ballets designed to entertain the entire family. Dancers of all ages have a chance to dance in a number of performances throughout the year.
